The Package Contains
1 x BakeRolls Cannoli Set (Set of 10)
Ingredients for the Dough Rolls:
- 8.8 oz flour
- 1 oz sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 oz butter (cold, in pieces)
- 1 egg
- 2 fl oz white wine or water
- Oil for frying
For the Filling:
- 8.8 oz ricotta
- 2.8 oz powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate chips, lemon zest, chopped pistachios
Preparation:
- Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter, then egg and wine/water. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Let dough rest for 30 minutes, then roll out thin and cut circles.
- Wrap each dough circle around a BakeRolls™ mold piece and seal tightly.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown, drain, and carefully remove from the mold.
- For the filling, beat ricotta with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy. Customize as desired.
- Use a piping bag to fill the cooled cannoli.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately. Buon appetito!
